I bought two t-shirts as a celebration of finishing my degree - OPTIMIST & NO BORDERS - not only because of the incredible quality and ethos of birdsong - but both items perfectly encapsulated my feelings. As my dissertation was titled "Destablising Borders: Postmigration, Art & Hybridity" wearing the NO BORDERS t-shirt in the grounds of my university felt so special. Equally as special was wearing the OPTIMIST t-shirt when I found of my first class degree results. I shall treasure these t-shirts for many years to come as they are physical reminders of very special memories.
